We've started back homeschooling again at the start of the new year...so I've been working on getting everything organized, and in order, printing off some worksheets for my 2 little girls, and trying to find good resources online that are free printables!

A week of Menu Planning... what is yours?

I'm looking thru my pantry, and trying to figure out how to use what I have on hand to create some delicious meals for my family. I'm not one that does very good at meal planning....I've always been a fly by the seat of my pants kinda girl...and I really want to change that this year!

I need to plan dinners for until next Monday, when my hubby gets paid. Then I'll restock my pantry/freezer and create a new menu plan!

Okay, so here is what I have so far:

Tonight: Beef Enchilda's, Black beans & rice
Thursday: leftovers maybe? .... we'll be eating at the New Year's Eve party
Friday: Hot wing Chicken pizza, Cheese pizza (homemade of course) :) +carrot sticks
Saturday: Spaghetti, garlic bread and broccoli and garlic stir fry
Sunday: Cheesy Chicken & Rice dish, peas, cheesy bread


We were blessed yesterday by my niece Jen, who dropped off a BIG bag full of bagels, 2 huge loaves of bread..all from the Panera Bread company! I was sooo excited! We'll be snacking on those all this week! Thanks Jen!

Something new..just in time for Fall!!

Wow, It's been a long,long time since I posted. I had to take a blog break for a while, due to me teaching full-time, as well as my youngest daughter being extremely sick. Thankfully she is better for the most part. Her immune system seems to be really run down, and she often gets fevers, with no other symptoms. We are doing what we can to give her body a boost with vitamins, and healthy eating.

I'm sure some of you have noticed I closed down my 2-Sweet Boutique Etsy shop just for a while. I have been overloaded with orders..and just needed a break to get things caught up. I will be re-opening my shop in just a few weeks after I can get more handbags made up!

I have however been playing around with something new for my Toadstools & Blossoms Shop...

Soft... ohhh sooo comfy....fleece "Shag" Rugs!! How awesome is that??!!

These adorable rugs can be customize to any style or color to match any room decor!! What makes these rugs soooo GREAT is...that will probably be the softess, my awesome rug your piggies have ever touched! The rugs are completely machine washable/dryer safe. You can't beat that!

Finally an Update...after many long weeks

Hi everyone! I'm back! We've been busy with school, sewing, and of course I teach school full-time, so that actually takes up most of my time. :)


I don't have much time today, I'm inbetween classes right now, so I thought I would post a quick update.

Pulling an almost all nighter...

Oh wow... boy after 3 nights of almost NO sleep...I really starting to feel the effects! I've been sooo incredibly busy with purse/diaper bags & wallet orders and I have been workign almost around the clock just to keep up. I'm seriously thinking I might need to hire some help....but not really sure where to begin to look. My oldest daughter helps me sew some...but with school starting back up, that will not be possible, so now I'm in the throws of wondering which direction to go. Have any of you hired someone to help you with your online etsy businesses? If so, how did you go about finding them? I'd love to hear!! :)

If you have any ideas on this subject...or on keeping your business organized..please, please leave me a comment!! I'm needing all the help I can get.... I guess I'm probably over tired...so it's making things look like mountains...instead of mole hills! LOL

Lost in real life!

Once again I've been over taken with my real life..and just haven't had time to get online much. I've been so busy with purse and diaper bag orders I haven't been able to see straight!! It's a good thing...I'm not complaining! :)

These beautiful, scrupmptious, soft, adorable blankets...are my new "personalized" Snuggly Quilts! This picture doesn't show it...but they are soooo soft and nice! The cotton chenille is just soft and fluffy! I can customize them with any name or make them to match any color or decor!! You can get a matching pillow if you like! :)
